Work Afternoon - Saturday 16th March, 1-3pm
During these afternoons, we do work to help maintain the reserve. The plan for this afternoon is to launch a new nesting platform to replace some old ones damaged by weather over the years, weave in the willow at the willow screen on the far side of the main pond, coppicing in the wetland area, and if time permits, litter picking! Please wear suitable clothing and footwear - if it rains before hand, the site will be muddy! All tools will be provided, you may wish to bring your own gardening gloves if you have them.
Meet in the Straw's Bridge Car Park just before 1pm.
Next Meeting
The next meeting will take place at Victoria Park Bowls Pavilion. We meet at 7pm on Wednesday 24th April 2024. Free parking is available in the park carparks on Drummond Road and Manners Road (this carpark is closest to the pavillion).
